Name Origin
Named after the Mosasaurus, an extinct group of enormous aquatic reptiles that weighed up to 10,000 kg and possessed razor-sharp teeth.

Stones Submission
The Stone was placed by @bearwolfben outside of @Temple_Stonelifting_Club_London. with permission from the gym owner. The stone is situated on a pavement therefore lifters must not obstruct pedestrians or otherwise interfere with the public highway and should comply with any applicable restrictions. Anyone attempting to lift the stone does so entirely at their own risk.

History

This stone was acquired as a means of training for the Dinnie Stones; a heavier way to “over-prepare” and was used alongside another stone in the gym. The handle itself was made for grip legend David Horne to replicate the Dinnie Stones lift and was fitted to the stone in 2014.
