Name Origin
This is a Stone of Honour. The Stone is named in honour and remembrance of Matt - a firefighter, Strongman, biker and local legend who died in 2022 in a motorcycle accident after a long shift.
Stone Placement
This Stone was sourced and placed by @chriswolfstrong on a peice of heritage land aquired by Matt's sister. The Stone is placed there, with Matt's ashes. Please be respectful of the site and Stone. Leave no trace and use a drop pad.
History
The Stone was placed in loving memory of Matt. Matt and Chris had shared a vision of opening a gym for disadvantaged young people — a place of strength, support, and opportunity.
Carved into the Stone is the Sigil, The Sacred Strength Sicilian, which was intended to be the gym’s logo. The Stone stands as a lasting symbol of Matt’s enduring spirit and a place to celcebrate his life and his love of all things strength.

This stone is located on a small piece of Heritage land.open-access land. Users should ensure that any lifting is compatible with the applicable access rights and restrictions and leave the stone and surrounding area as they found them.
