Name Origin
The Hay Stone, a modern stone (pronounced "Stee-yan" in Cumbrian dialect).
History
A modern stone consisiting of Shap pink granite. During the summer of 2019 it was caught by a tractor wheel and fell out of the banking into the track during hay time. Becoming stuck between the tractor and a trailer full if hay, it took two brothers to lift it back onto the bank, out if the way until 2024 when I first learnt rolled down into the track to attempt and replicate the feat solo.
