History

The Little Grey Fergie, officially the Ferguson TE20, was a small, versatile tractor produced in Britain from 1946 to 1956. It played an important role in the mechanisation of post-war agriculture, replacing much of the work previously carried out by horses and manual labour.

Its small size made it particularly useful for working smaller farms and rural landscapes. The tractor has become an iconic symbol of British agricultural heritage, including the traditional farming and communing landscape of the New Forest, where livestock, forestry and agriculture have long shaped the character of the area.
