Name Origin
The Bramble Stone is named after the hotel grounds where it sits. The Fallow Stone is one of five stones named after the five species of deer found in the New Forest, with the fallow deer being the most common. They can often be seen grazing in and around the hotel grounds.

History
The Bramble Hill Hotel stands on a site with a rich history. Originally built as a hunting lodge, it later became a private residence before being converted into a hotel. During both the First and Second World Wars, the building served as a field hospital, adding another chapter to its long and varied past.
